(JW Insights) Jun 29 -- Chinese alcohol giant Wuliangye is stepping into the new energy vehicle industry through its subsidiary Push Group.

Push Group holds 20% of shares in a newly-established company called Huashan Yungu, founded on June 21 in Yibin, southwestern China’s Sichuan Province, with a business scope covering sales of new energy vehicles, as shown on Tianyancha, provider of Chinese corporation data and due diligence platform.

Push Group also plans to invest in Push Automobile Integration Industry Development Co., Ltd., Push Auto Parts Co., Ltd., and Puxin New Energy Technology Co., Ltd - all involved in the automotive industry.

Wuliangye is located in Yibin, southwestern China’s Sichuan Province, and Push Group was established in 1998 in the city.
